LET’S GROW! 2023 is Alpha Arts Alliance’s third fundraising exhibition in benefit of Grown in Haiti. Grown in Haiti (est. 2014) is a Haitian-led organization that empowers rural Haitian communities to build local, self-sustaining economies through regenerative farming practices and community education in Cap Rouge, Haiti.

Since its inception, GiH’s impact includes 10,000 trees planted and more than 300 individuals trained in sustainable agricultural practices, with its most profound changes witnessed within the hyperlocal communities.

Since 2018, we have been building Grown in Haiti’s first community center to advance their incredible mission. Art sale proceeds and direct donations will support the purchase of natural disaster-proof materials to build the framework of the community center – a welcome space for the local community and our growing global network of volunteers - as well as our Agrinatif team.

This year’s exhibition will take place at the NYC Culture Club and online. The exhibition opens Tuesday, November 28th from 5-8 PM and will close physically on Sunday, December 17th and online on Wednesday, January 31st.

Let’s Grow! 2023 features artists from the USA and Haiti including Caroline Absher, Mequitta Ahuja, Steven Baboun, Sanié Bokhari, Bhasha Chakrabarti, Morel Doucet, Mark Fleuridor, Laurena Finéus, Terrick Gutierrez, Asif Hoque, Madjeen Isaac, Misha Japanwala, Zahyr Lauren, Ella Mahoney, Anina Major, Milo Mathieu, Alicia Reyes McNamara, Jeffrey Melo, Watson Mere, Mafalda Mondestin, B Moore, Miguel Ángel Payano Jr, Rajni Perera, Na‘ye Perez, Cora Nimtz Rose, Nyugen Smith, Lanecia Rouse Tinsley, Khari Turner, Cyle Warner.

Proceeds directly benefit the artist and the receiving organization. Artists are given the choice to donate 50% - 80% of proceeds.
