Our Mission

Alpha Arts Alliance (est. 2020) New York’s only active South-Asian female led arts dealership. This online and nomadic platform amplifies dynamic artists of color, with a focus on Caribbean and South Asian women artists. ALPHA serves collectors who are starting out in their journeys as well as those seasoned in their interests. We embody a holistic, whole-hearted approach to artist services and client relations, paying special care to the desires, needs and visions of each individual we work with.

ALPHA began by hosting pop-ups in a home gallery in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and providing arts services to local creatives. Our founder, Sadaf Padder, has over 10+ experience in managing teams and providing targeted, wrap-around consultation that gets results. Notable accomplishments include facilitating acquisitions to the Baltimore Museum of Art, Northwestern University and the Nion McEvoy Foundation.

We commit to the ALPHA ARTIST PLEDGE - Art that Gives Back - which means a percentage of all sales and commissions funds youth programming in Brooklyn and Haiti. We have fundraised and directed four youth programs since 2020 and are also building an artist retreat and community center in partnership with Grown in Haiti.
