Na’ye Perez
Na’ye Perez (he/him) is a Cuban-Haitian anti-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn. Through his paintings, drawings and socially engaged performances, his work explores themes of Black community, shared experiences, identity, and accessibility. Perez has participated in solo and group exhibitions at CFAC Gallery at Syracuse University, NY; Welancora Gallery, Dinner Gallery, and Cuchifritos Gallery, NY; Residency Gallery, Inglewood, CA; Oolite Arts, Miami, FL; Steven Zevitas Gallery, Boston, MA; 129 Gallery, Columbus, OH. His residencies include New Wave, The Shed’s DIS OBEY, and Pratt’s Project Third (P3).
